Social Referrals Help CAA Drive New Memberships
This CAA chapter had trialed referral programs in the past, but ran into operational challenges with referral tracking and fulfillment. Surveys showed that satisfied association members were interested in being able to refer friends and family, so the marketing team set a goal of increasing memberships through an automated program to facilitate online and offline referrals by associates and members. The CAA Member Get Member program is an easy and rewarding way for valued members and employees to encourage their friends and extended family to consider joining CAA; referrers and new CAA members are rewarded with a choice of CAA Dollars or movie tickets for successful referrals. Members refer friends using online channels including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Gmail, Yahoo and supports verbal referrals, which are an important source of new memberships.
