Reporting to the VP, Client Services, in this role you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a client’s digital marketing initiatives consisting of recommendation marketing, loyalty and customer engagement initiatives. You will work side-by-side with the Client Services team taking full accountability for delivery. You will need to build excellent working relationships with RewardStream’s Creative and Implementation team members in order to provide exceptional solutions to our client’s business goals.
In order to be a successful candidate, you will have experience working in an agency, consulting or software development environment where fast-paced projects are the norm.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Manage Scope, Quality, Resources, Time and Effort to ensure that RewardStream continues to have clients and staff that are proud of their brilliant, high impact, on time and budget deliveries
- Engage and facilitate in strategic planning, ideation and business processes discussions with clients and the RewardStream internal teams
- With your team, prioritize and allocate tasks on an ongoing basis. You will need to assert yourself so that clients and staff go through you when requesting the implementation team carry out a piece of work
- Manage the implementation process, continually looking for ways to optimize it for efficiency and at the same time proactively identify risks and executing mitigation plans
- Ensure that the appropriate level of rigor is adhered to for the RewardStream delivery process, this uses a combination of both agile and waterfall techniques
- Escalate issues in a timely manner to the appropriate level within the organization, both the Account leadership as well as the Creative, Technical and Strategic leadership will need to be engaged
- Participate in internal PMO programs including post project reviews, internal process initiatives and ongoing practice improvements.
- Working closely with the Client Services team to ensure that the impact of changing resource and project requirements are understood and acted upon
- Together with the Client Services team be the shield for the delivery team, this means knowing when to interrupt them and when to let them concentrate on the task at hand
- Support the Client Services team in realizing the account’s strategic growth potential
- With the VP of Client Services arbitrate resource or task conflicts and use your wisdom to reduce the likelihood of these happening again
The Required Skills and Experience are:
- 5+ years of direct digital, advertising agency or software project management or producer experience, which must include Creative, Technical and Strategic project management experience.
- Extensive experience in managing multiple projects that are built on top of a continually evolving marketing platform
- Ability to work with a diverse range of talents, personalities and teams all working under pressure, within tight deadlines
- Analytical and financial skills in order to forecast and report both estimated and actual revenue, gross margin, expenses and project completion milestones
- Knowledge of standard project management tools and methodologies, including but not limited to risk management, scope management, change management and scrum
- Direct experience and skills in brand marketing; understanding of online marketing tactics, loyalty programs, relationship marketing, CRM and affiliate sales models would be an asset
