Careers: Senior QA Analyst
Reporting to the VP, Client Services, in this role you will be responsible for the overall quality of digital marketing initiatives consisting of recommendation marketing, loyalty and customer engagement solutions and our ever-evolving Loyalty Products. You will work as part of the Client Services team, creating comprehensive test cases, performing thorough tests, and logging detailed defects, and taking full accountability for overall release quality. You will need to build excellent working relationships with RewardStream’s Implementation, and R&D team members in order to help us provide exceptional products and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Write detailed testing reports and ongoing and comprehensive Quality Assurance documents and provide timely information to the project and client teams
- Interface with the delivery team regarding the resolution of issues
- Ensure all projects meet the specified functional requirements
- Work one on one with developers to work through issues and provide ongoing feedback
- Create , update and manage test cases
- Test for design, navigation and behaviour consistency and flow
- Report on progress findings on an ongoing basis
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions as required
Skills/Experience
- At least 2-3 years’ experience as a QA tester
- A technical degree
- A demonstrated understanding of the development life cycle and how QA fits into the process
- A demonstrated understanding of front-end and back-end technologies and how they fit together
- Basic HTML skills are a must
- Strong communication and problem solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment required.
